Fremr invests primarily in listed companies that aim to achieve a low-carbon future and improvement of social well being. Important sectors are renewable energy production and storage, carbon capture and removal, health, technology, agriculture, transportation, property and finance.
Fremr is a family office that actively manages its own assets. We invest mainly in stocks and bonds traded on exchanges across the EEA (European Economic Area) and USA. We strive towards achieving world-class efficiency by developing in-house methodology and automation tools for analysis, decision-making and trading. Our long-term goal is to outperform benchmark market indices whilst retaining our focus on greenshift impact investments.
As a family-led office that seeks to be a standard-bearer in sustainable investing, we naturally want to be part of the solution in addressing climate change. Our philanthropic endeavours are channelled through the Carbon Technology Research Foundation (CTRF), A UK-based non-profit company founded by Fremr.
CTRF funds research into new methods of carbon sequestration that have their roots in nature, and that hold promise of Gigaton carbon capture. A keystone of CTRF's funding philosophy is that private companies play a significant part in achieving the net-zero transformation.
